How that works on siteThe part you never see
Good paint matters, so we spec architectural coatings made for cabinets and furniture. Past that, a finish is only ever as good as the surface underneath it.
Cabinets live a harder life than your walls do, taking grease and steam and the odd knock and a thousand openings a year. Most of how the finish ages is settled before the first coat ever goes on, back in the degreasing and sanding and priming that never show up in a photo. On your kitchen we give that part the time it takes.
The doors, drawer fronts, and cabinet boxes get sprayed for a smooth, furniture-grade finish, and whenever your kitchen and its surfaces suit it, that fully sprayed finish is what we do as standard. If your cabinets are carrying an unknown coating from some past project, we might instead go with a durable enamel and hand-finish the boxes, and we’ll tell you which of the two yours calls for when we see them. And if you’ve been wanting new pulls or hinges, this is the moment for it. The doors are already off, so we put them on while we’re there.

On our jobs you never have to rehearse it. Your crew leader is standing right there, and the small stuff is exactly what you want to raise early, while it’s still small. We get an update from the crew every day, and so do you.
Anybody can type the word care onto a website. On your property it means floors and furniture and landscaping covered before painting starts, the site left orderly every evening, and cleanup good enough that customers mention it in their reviews before we ever ask them to.
By the time we get to the final walkthrough, you’ve had the whole job to speak up. We walk it together at the end as one last check that nothing slipped past either of us before we call it done.

Both. We paint cabinets and change their color, and we stain and refinish cabinets that are already stained. It goes past kitchens too: bathroom vanities, laundry cabinets, entertainment centers, bookcases, and other built-ins.
Yes, and usually without stripping them down. Depending on what you’ve got, we’ll sand and blend the stain where the old finish has worn through, mix custom toners to shift the color or change it outright, or just freshen up the tone that’s already there. We’ll look at your cabinets and tell you what’s doable when we come out.
Any finish will take damage if you go at it hard enough, but when cabinets chip it’s almost always the prep that let go rather than the paint. Degreasing, sanding, a bonding primer, and architectural coatings built for cabinets and furniture are what hold a finish tight through years of daily opening and closing. Fewer than 1 percent of our completed projects have needed a touch-up call after the final walkthrough.
