Does A Paint Job Really Matter?

Here we are starting the last weekend of the month and I just found out that January is
International Quality of Life Month. I can’t tell you when it started, but I love that someone recognized how important quality of life is and decided that it should be something that we focus on to start the new year (It does sadden me that we have to remind each other that quality of life is important though). I can’t help but wonder if that’s how New Years resolutions started, but I have zero facts to support that thought.

I see quality of life as things that bring a smile to my face. A smile is typically a good indication that someones life is being made better in that specific moment.

The day I proposed to my wife I couldn’t control the smile on my face. I think it’s because in that moment I knew my life was about to get better in every possible way (I was confident she was going to say yes, and spoiler alert-she did). I was literally trying to hold it back and I couldn’t. I didn’t want my goofy grin to give it away, but I’m pretty sure it just confirmed what she already suspected.

At this point, I’m sure you’re thinking “Sure, sure, but what on earth does it have to do with painting a house?”

That’s a great question

One of our core principles is- An excellent paint job makes life better.

The paint job you see every day has a major impact on how you think, act and feel and if it isn’t putting a smile on your face it’s probably time to think about a change. One of my favorite smiles to see is the one I get from homeowners at the end of a job because it confirms that I have improved their quality of life.

My team recently completed some cabinet refinishing in valley springs. During the planning stages we learned that the home owners hated the orange color of their oak cabinets, but they didn’t want to paint them. With a few more questions we were able to develop a plan that would allow them to enjoy their kitchen again- And in the end, they loved it!

On the surface (no pun intended) you might think that what we do is “just” house painting. But, what we really do is devote a small portion of our life to making your life better.
